STEAK & FRIES

FANTASTIC - SUNNY AGAIN in NW England. We’ve waited a long time for any sign of summer this year. Brits are a hurrying, solemn-faced and withdrawn race under grey skies. And we’re transformed into smiling, sociable friends-with-everyone the moment the sun shows its face. Pavement cafés spring to life and my fellow coffee-lovers begin to yearn for lazy afternoons en France. Steak and fries tonight on Bramhall Lane South? Count me in. Long live summer.
