DRAWING IN ...

WHY WOULD JESUS order the witnesses to some of His miracles not to tell others about them? (see Mark 5.21-43) Maybe because He doesn’t want these relatively minor incidents to distract from the big picture …



And the big picture (above) draws us into much deeper, broader pastures! Jesus eventually asked that His followers went out to proclaim a much bigger miracle: that He will draw all people unto Himself; that it is the will of God that His children should live with Him, in peace, forever. “Greater love hath no-one than this …” … but we should aspire to that kind of love!

 

Not for the first time, I find that Maggi Dawn hits the nail squarely on the head in her Love is of God.
